I like the design; and yet I do have one question. Since the "text area" is dark; can you recommend a writing instrument to use - if one does these things by hand, versus computer - on the label part? Thanks!:)

Well, by hand you could use a light colored paint pen or an acrylic and a paint brush. By computer you use an illustrator program.
